Commons:Categories for discussion/2024/12/Category:Embassies by country

Most Commonwealth countries are using "Embassies and high commissions of X", while other countries are using "Embassies of X", which goes against the Universality Principle, which suggests using the same term across categories. I understand that embassies between Commonwealth countries are called "high commissions" because they don't want to see themselves as "foreign", and the term "embassies" imply foreignness. But this is not what Commons wants to deal with. We want to make sure that users can navigate to appropriate categories easily, which works best if all categories of a given topic follow a consistent name, following the spirit of the Universality Principle.
