Risk of copyright violation because of an unreliable public domain claim. This is the cover of an edition of a book published in Italy in 1962. The text of the book is public domain because its author Edmondo De Amicis died in 1908, but the drawing on the book cover may not be public domain. I have inspected several older editions of the book on archive.org,[1] and they do not use this drawing. The style of the drawing suggests a date closer to 1962 than to 1886, when the book was first published. Verbcatcher (talk) 21:00, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
