@Luan: , seria interessante atualizar sim este mapa, dada sua grande utilização; não tenho mais o Corel Draw no computador de casa, vou tentar usar o do trabalho, pelo que pode demorar um pouco... Depois, a título de histórico mesmo, esta versão obsoleta poderia ser salva com nome distinto - contendo o período xxx-2009, por exemplo - para a RMS... que acha? André, primeiro, desculpe-me pela mensagem em inglês. Foi a preguiça; encontrei a mensagem padronizada e a usei. E sim, a imagem pode servir de registro histórico sim! Assim como a versão anterior da imagem. O mapa da RMS foi assim entre janeiro de 2008 e janeiro de 2009. E para isso o melhor seria renomear a imagem mesmo, algo como File:Região Metropolitana Salvador (2008).png ou o que preferir. Se puder subir uma versão em SVG do mapa também, seria ótimo! E quanto a "pode[r] demorar um pouco", não tem problema nenhum; afinal o que é "um pouco" perto de nove anos? hahahaha E tem outros mapas lá na categoria que têm tampado o buraco. Done - para a atualização do ficheiro, com Pojuca; aproveitei para remover a margem que havia, indevidamente, colocado e... aquela escala errada que me incomodava! Fui aqui conferir: a ponte projetada teria 12 km, jamais seria possível aquela escala ser verdadeira, não sei mais como foi que achei aquilo! Enfim, por conta dela, melhor nem aproveitar as versões antigas... he, he... Cazuzinha era tio de minha avó Alice; deixou a casa para minha tia-avó Beatriz, que se mudou para Conquista com o marido, Seu Meyer, que foi lecionar no colégio do Padre Palmeira; quando meu pai se casou com minha mãe, comprou-a dela e continua na família. Muito embora não tenhamos (o Cazuzinha incluso) qualquer parentesco com o Comendador João Caetano, que foi quem a construiu...
E voltando às categorias, achei que você as tinha "separado"... Eu ia um dia pesquisar por meu saudoso "Guaraná Fratelli" e há tempos havia trazido para cá aquela foto do Elevador Lacerda com a propaganda das "gazozas" Fratelli Vita, não teria como incorporar naquela categ sobre a Fábrica... Ao final, é preciso um dia criarmos artigos para todo esse patrimônio histórico que a Bahia vai perdendo... (aqui é uma luta conservar o que restou!) Abraço. Pois é! Na verdade, eu estava numa rota de ônibus de Paratinga a Belo Horizonte. O ônibus que eu estava quebrou e parou na rodoviária de Caetité. Acabei aproveitando a parada para tirar umas fotos dos arredores, mas foi coisa rápida. Com certeza, se ocorrer uma oportunidade, te aviso. "rodoviária" de Caetité é bondade vossa, he, he... Aquilo na verdade é uma mera "parada de ônibus" de uma, duas empresas, que controlam a ferro e fogo o monopólio... Pois então, meu caro @Fronteira: , Urubu é um dos mais antigos núcleos de povoamento do sertão, e pela antiguidade guarda muito de sua história em comum com Caetité. Aliás, nem sei bem por quê, integramos a mesma região turística no Mapa do Turismo Brasileiro... e para mim é novidade esse roteiro - provavelmente da BR-030/122 o ônibus "desvie" para a BR-430, sem passar pela cidade... Salve meu caro! Vi que me enviou uma mensagem, mas nem acertei te responder pelo caminho correto, por isso estou te respondendo aqui. Então, utilizei essa plataforma em 2019 para submeter algumas fotografias para um concurso de imagens, e nem me lembrava que tinha feito isso. @Gobonobo: , na época em que carreguei a imagem havia um "doodle" do Google e, na pesquisa sugerida, essa imagem era recorrente, dizendo ser a própria. Por ter trabalhado com imagens do séc. XIX, não me pareceu diferente daquelas contemporâneas (1860) e como tal era identificada. Então, a "certeza" reside nas fontes, que diziam ser ela... Algumas páginas como esta, trazem essa mesma imagem em fotomontagem (note que a data antecede a homenagem do Google). A representação então adotada a trazia com o "coque" no cabelo, o que não vemos em outras fotografias usadas em sites. Então, tenho tanta certeza quanto dizem aqueles que publicaram a imagem como sendo da cientista. Se existe dúvida acerca disso, entretanto, talvez o melhor seja realmente retirar a atribuição. Obrigado pela sua resposta. Eu estava procurando uma imagem para ilustrar nosso artigo na Wikipédia em inglês. Parece haver várias imagens online que afirmam ser fotos dela. O artigo dela é um artigo de destaque na Wikipedia em inglês e surgiu o assunto da falta de uma foto para ela. Um dos editores, que tem mais conhecimento do que eu, disse: “Múltiplas fontes confirmam que não existe uma imagem definitivamente identificada, mesmo após contacto com descendentes”. O site do BBVA usa outra imagem dela com um cachorro que certamente não é ela. Anteriormente estávamos usando essa imagem, mas foi determinado que provavelmente era uma foto de sua filha, por en:talk:Eunice Newton Foote#GA Review. gobonobo ⁺ ^c 01:13, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.

Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 Has Launched – Join Us!

Hello André Koehne,

Greetings from the Wiki Loves Folklore International Team! We are excited to announce Wiki Loves Folklore 2025, an international contest on Wikimedia Commons dedicated to capturing the beauty of folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world. Whether it’s vibrant folk festivals, traditional dances, soulful music, time-honoured culinary practices, unique attire, oral storytelling, or other cultural treasures, this is your chance to document and share the living heritage that unites us all.

How Can I Contribute?

It’s simple! Grab your camera, smartphone, or recording device, and start capturing photos, videos, or audio that tell the story of your local folklore. Once you’ve collected your media, head over to the Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 page and click on the Upload Now icon to submit your entry. What We Won’t Accept

To maintain the integrity of the competition, please note that we will not accept media that are:

Out of the Commons Project scope
Lacking EXIF information
Excessively processed or digitally altered
Pornographic or explicit
Artwork submissions that pose copyright issues
