About reverted speedy deletion requests

Hi. I'd like to know according to which Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons policies you were writing that we do not delete redirects from old files, even is the name wrong. All my speedy deletions requets were accepted due the to wrong name caption by other users. These two photos were uploaded to Commons with the wrong names and summaries. In Google search still it can be seen. My aim is to vanish these errors:

Ich verstehe nicht, warum du den Commons Filename verschoben hast.

Aktuell heisst die Gemeinde Malé,

daher habe ich den Ortsnamen im Filename auch so geschrieben. Dass es ein Schreibdurcheinander gibt, war mir schon klar, aber das Thema muss man nicht in einer einzelnen Commons-Datei abhandeln.

Der Antrag kam von User:Fallen Sheep. Auf dem Plakat lässt sich gut erkennen, dass es sich um ein "È mit Gravis" und nicht um ein "É mit Akut" handelt. Auch Category:Trento–Malè tramway nennt sich so und nicht umgekehrt. Ein Filename sollte schon stimmend sein, bildet also den damaligen Ist-Zustand ab auch wenn sich die Gemeinde heute anders schreibt. Die Verschiebung schien mir dabei logisch und deshalb führte ich sie auch durch. Kleine Nebeninfo: Ich habe auch die Lizenz dabei geändert, es fehlte eine zusätzliche für US. Statt PD-Old solltest du bei solchen Bildern PD-old-100-expired verwenden, dann braucht es keine zweite. Hier z.B. File:H. Müller Jakob Friedrich Fries 1830.jpg könnte man die Lizenz schon ändern. Hallo @Goesseln :) Die Eisenbahnlinie schrieb sich (zumindest damals) tatsächlich mit accent grave, wie von Goesseln erläutert. Das habe ich auch auf mehreren Veröffentlichungen so gesehen, in der Kategorie führen die meisten Filenames es auch als Malè. Die Stadt schreibt sich heute anders, das stimmt auch. Meine Vermutung ist, dass sich der Stadtname irgendwann in der jüngeren Vergangenheit geändert hat – ich konnte leider nicht ausmachen, wann. Solltest du dich mit der Region auskennen, freut sich der Artikel (und meine persönliche Neugierde) auf jeden Fall über konkretere Informationen. Beste Grüße! Wappen des Oberstrass-Quartiers, Zürich

Gerhard Bräunlich vektorisierte für Commons um das Jahr 2008 die vollständige Serie der Gemeindewappen in Peter Zieglers Die Gemeindewappen des Kantons Zürich (1977) und errichtete damit ein Portfolio auf seiner Benutzerseite. Diese Vektorisierungen gehören zum Besten, was zu dieser Zeit auf Commons an vektorisierten schweizer Wappen zu sehen war.

Taktaal hat nun kürzlich eines dieser Wappen, c:File:CHE Oberstrass ZH COA.svg, überarbeitet und als neue Datei hochgeladen: CHE Oberstrass ZH COA fixed.svg. Es besteht jetzt auch eine Dateiweiterleitung, mit der Anfragen von der bestehenden auf die neue Datei umgelegt werden.

Es ist nicht aktzeptabel, dass die Datei von Gerhard Bräunlich aus dem Jahr 2008 nun als Werk von Taktaal aus dem Jahr 2025 ausgewiesen wird.

Ich habe deshalb die Modifikationen in Taktaals neuer Datei in Gerhard Bräunlichs bestehende Datei eingearbeitet. Damit gibt es keine weitere Notwendigkeit für die neue Datei, die gelöscht werden kann und deren Weiterleitung/ Ersetzungen wieder auf die ursprüngliche Datei zurückgestellt werden sollten.

Ich wäre dir dankbar, wenn du diese Änderungen vornehmen könntest!

Taktaal erhielt soeben autopatrol-Rechte zugebilligt, kann also in Zukunft Wappenrevisionen direkt selber vornehmen, anstatt Revisionen als neue Dateien hochzuladen. Gruss. ARK (talk) 10:26, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Vielen Dank für die Info. Den Austausch in den Sprachversionen kann ich heute abend nach Feierabend vornehmen. Das ist keine grosse Sache, so viele sind das ja nicht. Löschen kann ich das neue Wappen allerdings nicht, ich habe keine Adminrechte. Ich kann dann aber später da drauf einen Duplikatsantrag stellen, mache ich aber erst, wenn ich den Austausch vorgenommen habe. Hallo Ziv, ich nutze einmal kurz die Möglichkeit: Soweit mir bekannt, ist die Schnelllöschung bei reinem User InUse (Commons:Project scope#in use) erlaubt. Ansonsten würde ja jedes Selfie (und eigenes Material) von F10 ausgeschlossen und vor einer Schnelllöschung sicher sein :-)
